Thousands of people flocked to Aylesbury Rugby Club today for Armed Forces Day 2015.
The sun shone as revellers enjoyed theatrical displays, music and aeroplane fly overs at the event in Weston Turville.
Organised by Bucks County Council, a tea room, beer tent and various food and drink stalls kept happy civilians fed and watered as they mixed shoulder to shoulder with armed forces personnel.
The day kicked off with a moving flag raising ceremony and ended when 92-year-old Second World War veteran, ex-Desert Rat Ron Groom, was given the flag.
Service personnel were grateful that so many people turned up to show their support on a day made to honour the sacrifices they have made.
