The Christmas Fair at Elmtree School had some very special visitors – Chesham’s mayor, Councillor Noel Brown, and town crier Jane Dodds, as well as some rabbits, sheep and goats at the petting zoo.

The primary school and nursery hosted the festival for the second time on Saturday and it featured traditional activities as well as a bouncy castle and face painting.

The festive event also innovated with biscuit decorating, a beat-the-tinsel-goalie and a snowball tin can alley.

Elmtree headteacher Mrs Kent held a story corner for children, who also surprised their parents with a secret santa present room.
