About 450 people went along to the event at Hazeldene Farm, in Asheridge Road, Chesham, which focused on products from local artisans, food producers and breweries.

There was also something for the children as Top Banana ran a cake decorating workshop and there were ‘mocktail’ workshops for children as well as face painting.

Ten per cent of the stall costs will be donated to Chiltern Foodbank, to which people could donate food and other products on the day.

Organiser Jenny Dell said: “It went well for a first time. We had some lovely local food stalls and Haresfoot brewery went down very well.

“Chiltern Foodbank was very pleased and most people that attended brought food to donate, or unexpectedly, if they didn’t bring food they donated cash.

“We hope to repeat the event on a bigger and better scale next year.”
