Calling all Gleeks

GLEE fans will not want to miss a Gleek Summer Workshop at The Elgiva.

Two weeks of singing, dancing and acting is sure to beat boredom in the summer holidays for those aged eight to 18 when they are overseen by professional choreographer and musical director, Stuart Morrison, the director of the annual Elgiva pantomime.

The two weeks will culminate in three shows on September 2 (tickets £4) when the youngsters will show off their newly developed talents.

WYCOMBE Swan Summer Youth Project returns with its version of West Side Story.

This retelling of the world's greatest love story takes it to the turbulent streets of 1950s New York as rival gangs the Jets and the Sharks scrap for survival and reputation. Two idealistic lovers struggle among the hate, violence and prejudice as gangs and knife crime wreck neighbourhoods.

Featuring a cast and crew of about 250 local young people, this is one not to be missed.
