The National Trust property Waddesdon Manor features in the latest Frankenstein horror movie starring Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy.

Several scenes from the spooky movie, which will be called Victor Frankenstein and scheduled to be out on the cinema circuit on December 4, were shot at Waddesdon and you can see the Manor 52 seconds into the trailer.

Also keeping in the spirit of the 'spooky' season, Waddesdon Manor has arranged several Halloween functions later this month during the October half term break:

Halloween Hoot Trail
Sat 24 – 31 October, 10am-3pm

Follow our Halloween Hoot trail and see how many of Mimi the Mynah’s owl friends you can spot in fancy dress. Collect stickers for each one you can find to complete your owl tree trail. £1 a child

Pumpkin Carving

Be creative and carve your very own pumpkin. Come early – we have a limited edition of 1,000 pumpkins grown just for us. £4 a pumpkin. Or if you were here for Plant It, Grow It, Eat It and planted a pumpkin back in May please do bring it along for carving (no charge if bringing your own).
