DENHAM United Ladies U13s picked up their second piece of silverware of the summer with an impressive display at the Bourne End Tournament.

DENHAM United Ladies U13s picked up their second piece of silverware of the summer with an impressive display at the Bourne End Tournament.

Tamara Golder bagged the only goal of the game as United ran out 1-0 winners in the final against Chesham to make it two tournament wins out of three for the youngsters.

Denham had progressed through the group stages to set up a semi-final against unbeaten Vale Reds, where Golder was again on target, along with Alice Heady, to book their place in the final.

Golder finished United’s top-scorer with four strikes to her name and was followed by Heady and Ella King, who both notched three times.

There was also fine performance in goal from stand-in keeper Kirsten Da Silva and good showings from Jessica Buckley, Rio Hayes, Lahra Cumber and Simona Labudoua.

Denham are hosting a trial day on July 15 (noon to 2pm) for all age groups and abilities. For more information please contact Jo Currivan on 07919 032 532.
