Holmer hit for six in north London

HOLMER Green were hit for six in north London by a rampant Haringey Borough.

Chris Allen's side will have to try and erase this drubbing from their memory quickly ahead of a crunch month in their survival bid.

The heavy loss did little for their goal difference as they remain three points from safety and were riddled with injuries and unavailable players for this weekend game.

Ex-Chesham United striker Darrell Cox bagged a hat-trick and started the rout on four minutes before Charles Douse made it two just three minutes later.

Cox netted again on 22 minutes before Christopher Benjamin drove in a fourth and Cox completed his first-half treble to give his side a mammoth 5-0 lead at the break.

Holmer managed to tighten up in the second-half but Benjamin scored his second of the game before a late Danny Boateng header was scant consolation for the Greens.
