AMERSHAM Swimming Club’s young divers made a splash at the GBDF Championships in Cheltenham as all five of the club’s entrants claimed a medal.

The star of the show was debutante Anna Croft, who won the Novice Girls 12-13 years contest, leaving the opposition in her wake and finishing 40 points ahead of the second-placed competitor.

There was an Amersham one-two in the Intermediate Boys 14-15 years competition as club mates Christian Ditchburn and Harry Hunter slugged it out, with Ditchburn just edging ahead of Hunter in the end.

Two more girls claimed their first medals for the club.

Elizabeth Cullen took a silver in the Novice Girls 10-11 years section and Katie Burton rounded off a brilliant day for the club as a series of consistent dives secured gold for her in the Novice Girls U10 division.
