BYRON Walton is looking to dip into the market ahead of Beaconsfield's final promotion run-in.

Suspensions and injuries have hit the Rams with goals also drying up of late with top scorer Lee Barney having netted once in three months and the team having scored once in three games.

But Walton is confident his strikeforce, bolstered by the return of pacey Adam Bernard for the final run-in, can recapture their prolific form but is taking to the transfer market to boost his squad ahead of the close of the window this month.

"Lee Barney scored the other week and Adam is back with us so I am not too concerned about the goals," he said. "But we are light in other areas of the pitch and I have put in some seven-day requests for players before the deadline.

"We definitely need another goalkeeper because if Michael (Power-Simpson) gets injured we will have no cover for him. Plus with Craig Carby's three-game ban (straight red in derby loss at Chalfont last week) we need another left-back. Hopefully, we can get those deals tied up soon."
