Wycombe Wanderers became only the second League Two team to leave Greenhous Meadow with a point this season.

The Blues remain level on points with Shrewsbury at the top of the table following this weekend’s goalless draw between the two sides in Shropshire.

And while it’s the first time Gareth Ainsworth's troops have failed to score since early September, it is also the first clean sheet his back four have kept since October.

Ainsworth said: “Fantastic application. We have used every fit player we could today, which says a lot about the club.

"I'm so proud of them today, they really have given everything.

“The energy levels have astounded me. It was a hectic game and the lads have dug so deep. I think that's a great point against the league leaders."
