A SECOND-HALF Bedfont comeback stunned Chalfont at Mill Meadow on Saturday.

The Division One Central strugglers have been lifted by the arrival of ex-Farnborough and Hayes and Yeading manager Garry Haylock.

But they looked dead and buried at half-time as the Saints enjoyed a two-goal lead after Jamie O'Donaghue tapped in from close range on 28 minutes and Charlie Strutton headed in seven minutes before the break.

Bedfont had only scored three goals in a game once this season, all the way back in August, but two goals in two minutes turned the game on its head.

Reis Stanislaus netted from the spot on 64 minutes and the visitors levelled moments later when Joel Jacobs curled in a free-kick.

Their spirited comeback was completed 11 minutes from time when Lee Scott converted a Tom Kanek cross to dent Chalfont's play-off bid.
