CHALFONT St Peter put on a ruthless display at bottom side Marlow on Saturday.
No win in four games had thrown a hammer in the Saints' play-off hopes and travelled to their neighbours desperate for a change in fortunes.
And it was a pleasing afternoon for boss Danny Edwards who saw Terrell Lewis a(pictured) nd James O'Donaghue back in the goals.
It was flying winger Lewis who got Chalfont off to a perfect start on 24 minutes with the opener before Adam Louth doubled their lead two minutes into the second-half.
Chalfont were rampant and got a deserved third on 67 minutes through Alan Hedley but Marlow hit back themselves when Marcus Mealing hooked home six minutes later.
But the Saints were not to be denied a heavy win when O'Donaghue completed the scoring four minutes later before rattling the crossbar in stoppage time.
