BEACONSFIELD SYCOB equalled their heaviest league defeat of the season at promotion rivals Biggleswade Town.
The Rams endured a dismal return to action after a weather-enforced break with a four goal defeat in Bedfordshire on Saturday.
It saw Byron Walton's side move down to third in the table and lifted the Waders in to the play-offs – just three points behind SYCOB.
But, more alarmingly, it saw their cushion in the play-offs slashed to six points as the chasing pack crank up the promotion pressure.
The game was over by 27 minutes as Beaconsfield shipped three goals to make it a formality for Biggleswade.
Ashley Fuller opened the scoring on 13 minutes before Stuart Lochhead doubled their lead four minutes later and Brett Donnelly made it three just before the half-hour mark.
The second-half was a formality with the prolific Paul Barnes netting a fourth for the home side with 23 minutes to play.
