VICTOR Osobu ended his goal drought in style with a well-timed hat-trick to boost Beaconsfield's play-off hopes.
The striker had not found the net since January 2 - a run of 16 league games - but silenced his doubters at relegated Fleet on Saturday to keep them three points clear in the final play-off spot.
A point at home to Daventry on the final day of the season will be enough to secure an extension to the Rams' season at the weekend.
Osobu opened the scoring on the half hour mark with a well placed effort past Fleet stopper Ryan Pryce and he even had the luxury of missing a first-half penalty before doubling SYCOB's lead 12 minutes into the second-half.
Fleet were handed a lifeline when James Taylor was hauled down in the box with striker Craig Davis making no mistake from the spot on 68 minutes.
But the visitors were awarded a penalty of their own four minutes later that was converted by Nevin Saroya before Osobu completed his hat-trick seven minutes from time.
