CHARLES Dunne has been tipped to shine for Wycombe after making his debut last weekend.

The 18-year-old came off the bench for his bow at Charlton last Saturday after signing a two-year professional deal last September.

The left-back is highly rated at Adams Park and boss Gary Waddock said he has the talent to go all the way in the game.

He said: “I think he is very, very talented young player and has come very far in a short space of time to get his pro deal and his debut.

“I have been very close, in recent weeks, to giving him his debut because I have seen him in training ground and in games and I felt the time was right at Charlton to give him that experience.

“He is one for the future and if he can continue to develop the way he has been then who knows what he can go on and achieve.”
