A NEW-LOOK Chalfont side were left frustrated after conceding a late equaliser against Daventry.

The Saints, who handed debuts to goalkeeper Gary Jallow and striker David Lawrence, were on course for an away victory before Anthony Robinson levelled with two minutes to play.

Danny Edwards' side had to weather some early Daventry pressure with Jallow twice spilling the ball and Adam Louth forced to clear a shot off the line before taking the lead on 23 minutes.

Terrell Lewis was the creator when he drove to the byline and squared for Lawrence to score on his first Chalfont start.

Daventry improved after the break and always threatened to get back into the game. Robinson should have scored on 68 minutes but hit the bar from six yards out but made up for his error on 88 minutes when he prodded home a loose ball in the box.

Chalfont substitute Anthony Lennon, another debutant, nearly won the game for the visitors in stoppage time but his snapshot flew over the bar.

The points keeps the Saints in 10th spot.
