WYCOMBE have been dealt a striking blow with Paul Hayes recalled by Charlton.
The forward has netted six goals in six loan games but the Addicks have activated a 28-day recall clause and called the 28-year-old back to the Valley.
It comes after Charlton boss Chris Powell insisted he would only call back the in-form striker if he will get into the matchday squad.
Hayes has formed a prolific partnership with Blues top scorer Stuart Beavon with the pair netting 13 goals in the six games they played together.
“It gives someone else an opportunity to come in and make an impact,” Blues boss Waddock told the official website.
Fellow Charlton loanee Gary Doherty remains at Adams Park.
