WYCOMBE boss Gary Waddock believes Arsenal midfielder Craig Eastmond and Sunderland's Louis Laing have big futures ahead of them.
Gunners star Eastmond, 21, (pictured) has started all 14 games since his loan move from the Emirates in February and has impressed in a struggling Wanderers side.
With four Arsenal appearances already to his name, Waddock has backed him to reach the top after working closely with him in the past three months.
He said: “Eastmond is a quality footballer and he has already been able to play at Champions League level with Arsenal and his career is only going in one direction and that is upwards and onwards.”
Centre-back Laing had a mixed spell with Wycombe after joining on loan from Sunderland in January.
But the 19-year-old went on to make 11 appearances and put in a solid performance in his final day defeat at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday before heading back up to the Stadium of Light.
“Laingy done very well when he first came in,” said Waddock. “He struggled a little bit with the physical side of the game but he copes better with that side of it now and I think he has a bright future ahead of him.”
