ON-LOAN Arsenal midfielder Craig Eastmond looks set to hand Wycombe a fitness boost by shrugging off a bug to play on Saturday.
The 21-year-old played has been struggling with illness for the past week but should be available to play in the crunch weekend clash with Oldham.
Blues boss Gary Waddock said: “He was struggling before the Chesterfield game. Marvin (McCoy) had a bout of it the week before and Easty had it before Monday and during the course of the game. But he should be fine for the weekend.”
But the Wanderers chief faces a defensive injury dilemma ahead of the relegation shoot-out with the Latics.
Right-back McCoy (ankle) and centre-back Anthony Stewart (knee) remain doubts while full-back Danny Foster remains sidelined with a shoulder injury.
Dave Winfield has returned to training this week after a thigh strain but Waddock said the defender is still a doubt for Saturday.
He said: “We will have a head-count today and tomorrow and see where we are. But, whoever the team is, I know they will give it their best shot.”
