CHESHAM U11s rounded off a terrific unbeaten season by claiming the Tring Park CC Bank Holiday Tournament to win their fantastic fourth trophy of the year.

Chorleywood, Watford, Abbots Langley, Old Albanians and the host club were all seen off as Chesham picked up yet another piece of silverware.

Dominic Goodman and Owen Melaisis excelled in the opening game against Abbots Langley, both retiring after reaching 20 as Chesham posted 91-4.

Abbots scored 54-9 in their 15 overs as Amri Shakir took three wickets for one run. There were also wickets for Nouman Aslam, Tom Petrie and Alex Davies.

Seeing off Old Albanians in their second game by 44 runs secured a place in the final to face Watford.

Again batting first, Petrie retired and Liam Bradbury hit 15 with Chesham amassing 104-5 from their 15 overs.

Terrific opening bowling and fantastic fielding restricted Watford to just 11 runs from their first seven overs, and wickets were picked up by Goodman, Joseph Rance, Petrie, Bradbury and Davies after Watford could only manage 45-8 – and Chesham took yet another title.
