Master baker and Penn resident Mary Berry will be switching on Marlow's Christmas lights tonight in town centre.

The Bake Off star will begin by signing books to ticket holders only at Marlow Bookshop in Spittal Street before switching on the lights at 5.30 pm.

Marlow Choral Society, Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School Gospel Choir, the Songbirds Choir and the Tapestry Choir will provide entertainment while a snow machines adds a special festive touch to the late night shopping.

You can spot Mary atop a double decker bus outside The Chequers pub in the High Street where she will puch the button that illuminates the town with Christmas cheer.

Many shops will also be hosting one night only sales and discounts as well as special festive displays, so don't miss out.
