A top cop has spoken about the child sexual exploitation related warrants carried out in Bucks yesterday.
Acting Superintendent Olly Wright has released the video interview about the 120 officers who executed warrants at 13 properties from 7am on Tuesday (Sep 2).
Eleven men, aged 28 to 45, have now been arrested and remain in police custody.
In the video, Supt Wright speaks about the case causing ‘concern’ in the community but adds Aylesbury is a ‘strong’ community and police will continue to work closely with people in the community.
He also appeals to anyone with information about the offences, or any victims, to come forward to help bring the offenders to justice.
Seven warrants were carried out in Aylesbury, one in Chesham, one in Milton Keynes, one in Buckingham and one in Hayes, Middlesex.
In addition to the ten arrests yesterday morning, a 30-year-old man from Aylesbury was arrested last night on suspicion of sexual offences.
