Police are continuing murder investigations after a woman was found dead at a £1 million house in Gerrards Cross.

Officers were called out to the five bedroom house in High Beeches at 5.50pm on Monday (October 10), following a report that a woman in her thirties from the town had died .

An investigation was launched into the circumstances surrounding her death.

A murder investigation was launched on Thursday (October 13) after a Home Office post-mortem.

Work continues to establish the cause of death.

A 58-year old man from Gerrards Cross, arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until October 20.

According to property website Zoopla, the detached house is worth £939,000.

A neighbour spoke of her shock on Friday (October 14) after hearing 'screams' coming from the house .

Senior investigating officer Det Chief Insp Simon Steel, of the Major Crime Unit, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “We continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident and would appeal to anyone with information to come forward.

“If anyone has information in connection with this incident they should call the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting the reference 1171 10/10/16.”
