Check out these fantastic photos of the Chalfont St Giles Magic in the Sky firework display.
Taken by 16-year-old Anna Goldson, a photography student in year 12 at school, the snaps show images of the fireworks as they explode into the night sky.
She said “I was lucky enough to see the Chalfont St Giles ‘Magic in the Sky’ firework display on Saturday November 5th and it was fantastic.
“I took this opportunity to photograph the event’s fireworks using a longer shutter speed of 8 seconds to achieve a really unique outcome of brightly coloured light streaks which strongly suggest the nature of the display.”
The event, held in aid of the village scouts and guides, has been running since 1970.
This year’s display was held on Saturday (November 5) on Stone Meadow, with the bonfire starting at 6.15pm and the bonfire starting at 7pm.
