More than 150 people flocked to a care home as it celebrated its 20th birthday.
Sistine Manor Care Home, Stoke Poges, held a carnival themed party on Friday July 29 to mark its 20th anniversary.
Staff from Bucks County Council and Slough adult social care, along with people from the voluntary sectory, also took part in celebrations.
Managing director Abbas Shams gave a speech in which he talked about the last 20 years, and residents in each house came up with different games to raise money for their chosen charities, such as a human fruit machine and football, so that everyone was ‘fully involved’.
Operations manager Debra Dunning said it was a ‘good turn out’ and that everyone enjoyed the day.
“It was really great to be able to get people around so they could appreciate all the hard work,” she said and added: “I think we’ve done really well.”
