More than 1,000 people joined in the fun at the Lowndesbourne Town Picnic despite the overcast weather.
Revellers enjoyed picnics with family and friends in Lowndes Park and were also entertained by the talents of professional musicians during the picnic on Sunday.
These included the Flute Ensemble London, Lowndesbourne Festival Wind Quintet, Chess Brass and the Lowndesbourne Singers featuring Jess Wills and Ella Draycott.
Along with this Pothwar, a mixture of local musicians and some who had come especially from Birmingham for the event, played a number of traditional Pakistani instruments including sitar, gharra and flutes.
Kate, one of the organisers, said: “All the music was greatly enjoyed by the crowds of picnickers, who were a great mix of all ages and different communities.
“There was also great fun for the little ones with arts and craft and outdoor toys provided by St Mary’s Pre-school.
“A fantastic afternoon was had by all.
“We were so pleased with the great comments from everyone and how much they loved having such a relaxed free event in Chesham.”
