We may be less than a week into October but Christmas will be on us sooner than we realise - oh yes it will.
And stars of stage and screen have joined forces to appear in this year’s pantomime at the Wycombe Swan Theatre, which takes place from Saturday December 10 to Saturday December 31.
Comedian Bobby Davro, ex-Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson and Louie Spence of Pineapple Dance Studios will lead the cast of Cinderella, staged by Qdos Entertainment.
Linda Robson, who is best known for her role as Tracey Stubbs in the popular sitcom Birds of a Feather, will play The Fairy Godmother.
Television personality, presenter and choreographer Louie Spence is known for Sky One’s Pineapple Dance Studios and Louie Spence’s Showbusiness and will play The Prince’s loyal manservant, Dandini.
Bobby Davro is well-known for a varied and lengthy television career which has seen him appear in reality televsion, Eastenders and present his own series.
He will be playing Cinderella’s best friend Buttons.
Executive producer Jonathan Kiley said: “We are thrilled to have Linda, Bobby and Louie lead our cast in High Wycombe’s magical and unmissable pantomime.
“With lots of laughs, stunning scenery, fabulous costumes and plenty of audience participation, Cinderella will be the biggest and best panto ever staged at the theatre.“
Wycombe Swan theatre director, Simon Stallworthy, said: “After the huge success we had last year with Craig Revel Horwood, I’m delighted that we will be welcoming this wonderful trio of talent to Wycombe Swan.
“We couldn’t have wished for a more entertaining team, and I’m starting to get excited for Christmas already.”
