A Gerrards Cross gastro pub has added another award to its already glowing litany of accolades.

The Three Oaks, Austenwood Lane, received the ‘Restaurant of the Year 2016’ award in this year’s Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Life Food and Drink Awards, held on Thursday October 20 at Royal Windsor Racecourse.

The pub has gone from strength to strength over the past few months and with a ‘New Entry’ in The Good Food Guide 2017 and having retained it’s Bib Gourmand award from Michelin, the owners were delighted that for the third year running it was included in the list.

Having been nominated in two categories, the pub faced stiff competition against top pubs restaurants throughout the country.

Head chef Mikey Seferynski, who also reached the finals of Top Chef - Poland’s equivalent to Masterchef Pro - earlier this year, said: “Thank you so so much to all of our team and our owners.

“We are here to spread the love. It’s great that you appreciate what we do and at the end of the day, we love to make our customers happy.”
