The Chequers Inn in Wooburn Common has undergone a £1.4m face lift to give it a whole new look.

Brother and sister team Nick and Emma Roehrig have been overseeing the makeover at the inn in Kiln Lane since May last year... and it doesn’t stop here.

Having transformed the interior of the original building, work is still ongoing on a new build that will increase the number of guest rooms to 30, including three suites.

The restaurant now features floor to ceiling windows and there is an outside dining area where customers can enjoy a British-Continental a la carte menu.

The bar has been refurbished with new decor and furniture and the whole ground floor features a new aqua and taupe colour scheme.

There are 19 individually-styled rooms and suites, with another 11 opening in October

The existing building houses 19 individually-styled en suite guest bedrooms and suites, and the additional 11 rooms will be opening this October.

There are even conference facilities that can cater for 20 seated delegates, or 50 for cocktails.
