Young scientists in awe at Big Bang fair

Scientists and engineers from Amersham School were finalists in The Big Bank UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair

BUDDING scientists and engineers were finalists at a national competition.

A team from Amersham School went to Birmingham last week as one of the 200 final teams at The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair.

The team had created an app for 21st century medicine.

Organiser of the science and engineering club at the school, Kelly Gordon, said: “They loved it. They met all sorts of people and got to see different shows and getting to the last 200 was amazing. They are already asking if they can go again.”
