Len Goodman will take to his judge's seat for the last time this Saturday, December 17, but speculation about who might replace him is hotting up.

The firm favourite seems to be Anton Du Beke, the 50 year old ballroom dance pro who lives in South Bucks and has been part of the show since it's first season, in 2014, where he came third.

The star has not ruled out taking the job but insisted that no decision had been made yet about who will replace Len while speaking to ITV's This Morning.

During the series his partners have included Esther Rantzen, Anne Widdecombe and Judy Murray, but has never managed to take home the trophy.

In 2008 he won the Children in Need edition of Strictly Come Dancing when he partnered up with current host and Fulmer resident Tess Daly.

Anton has also recently announced that his girlfriend is pregnant with twins, and that there may even be a wedding in the not too distant future.

Bookmaker William Hill is currently offering 4/6 odds for Anton to be the next judge, but it's third ranked favourite is also a Bucks resident.

Brendan Cole lives with his wife, model Zoe Hobbs, in Aylesbury. The dancer with a penchant for Latin dance was born and brought in New Zealand, and has been a judge on the Strictly spin-off in the country for the last five years.

With odds of 5/1 it certainly seems like there could be a Buckinghamshire judge when Strictly rolls around for its 15th season in Autumn 2017.
